cff.org has something back from 06 posted about this. it says that bronchitol was slated to be avail to us by 08. so where r u bronchitol?
</end quote></div>

I read an article a few years ago about a study using xylitol in the lungs of CF patients -- similar to mannitol, I guess. I shared the article with a friend who was a former nurse and who had a son who suffered a lot from bronchitis and was also anaphylactic to antibiotics (no CF, but serious nonetheless). She developed a xylitol-saline solution for their nebulizer that helped keep him out of the ER. She later shared it with me and it helped keep me out of the ER and off antibiotics while I finished up 22 months of gruesome drug withdrawal from all the prescription drugs I used to take. With her permission, I put it on my website: <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.healthgazelle.org/nebulizedsolution.shtml">Neblizer Solution</a> I also used to add xylitol to my saline sinus washes. I could use less salt that way and it was more effective.
