I was inpired by a dear friend of mine who was always thinking of others. She passed away in December due to CF related complications and seeing her and talking to her inspired me. I was looking back at some online messages from her the other day and I had said something like I may not be in the same place you are (in relation to the CF) but I will always be here for you to listen. Well she came back and said, when and if you reach this point, I will be here for you as well. She always said she was praying for me and thinking of me, no matter what her situation was. She was the most self-less person and I miss her so much. And seeing her family at the funeral inspired me also, they just seemed so well composed and they were so inspired by her.
I have become a lot more open about my CF recently and I find it very inspiring to talk about and educate people about it. I went through a time where I was shy about it and didnt really talk about my CF with anyone who didnt really know about it. Now I like to 'show off' my knowledge and courage (even though I will be the last to admit that I am brave and courageous).
On a more positive note, I also find inspiration from the ppl here, from my own family. Many members of my family have had to overcome obstacles to get to where they are right now in life and I admire that fact. Both my parents lost thier own parents at young ages, and both of them had to overcome other struggles beacuse of that. Every day is a blessing, everything happens for a reason, so if your going through a tough time, you do your best and keep trucking.
