Insulin...Injection or pills?

I'm actually 5 days into taking a new pill called Januvia. I'm not sure yet if it's going to work---2 hour & fasing sugars are just a little high. I may just need a higher dose.
I've been told that if this doesn't work it's going to be shots for me. I'm not hugely stressed about it, as others have said, it will become routine & I kind of relish the idea of being able to eat what I want & off-set it with insulin (thinking chocolate covered cherries....mmm)<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

I got Diabetes after the transplants last year and I have to take Lantus in the morning and Novolog with food. Both insulins. It's really not so bad....especially now that my sugars have come down and I don't have to do so much.
