There is a point there. However, I think there are pretty serious ethical, moral and societal concerns involved when someone on death row ends up languishing in prison for the better part of a couple decades before finally being put to death as well. I think organ harvesting should be the least of their concerns when it comes to the way the 'system' works for these prisoners.

Our society rarely makes the right decisions in regards to any ethical or moral issue. Just look at the war on drugs, the war in Iraq and Libya, the prison industrial complex, lack of socialized healthcare, ETC. ETC.

lol, our society is screwed up all you can do is laugh! If there is ever a huge natural disaster that incites anarchy in America, these moral crusaders better watch out, because I am gonna go hunting!
