i had my clinic appointment friday and asked the professor who conducted my clinic appointment how genes for cf and differing levels are linked ,and she felt they are not really any links,it was just a misconseption in the past, now docters are more understanding of this disease they now realise that genetics and differing levels of cf are not related

Does she have any articles to back this up? I would be interested in reading these!

that is interesting, and it's something that i have been saying all along! My sister and I obviously have the same mutations, but whereas I go in the hospital every 6-8 weeks for antibiotics, she has been in twice in her entire life. It just goes to show that the mutation isn't everything, there are additional factors that determine which symptoms manifest and to what extent. I'd also be interested in reading any articles that the professor may know of.
