My sister and I obviously have the same mutations, but whereas I go in the hospital every 6-8 weeks for antibiotics, she has been in twice in her entire life. It just goes to show that the mutation isn't everything, there are additional factors that determine which symptoms manifest and to what extent. I'd also be interested in reading any articles that the professor may know of.
