Hi,
I have a child who just got off of bactrum about two weeks ago. Since that time her stools have been crazy and very frequent. She had this issue about a year ago, and the doc's put her on an antibiodic for the gi tract.
However...they can not locate the name of it, and I don't remember it either. (Makes me a little concerned that they don't have it on record, just further evidence that even with good doctors, we are still the ones that must be proactive and aware of what is going on.)
Anyway, if there is a common anti. that someone knows that helps with stools please let me know. If I heard it I would remember, so please throw out any names that you have used and helped.
Thanks,
p.s. she is on a current probiotic daily, and with the crazy stools we have increased it, which has helped. Further evidence that it is probably a bacteria infection in the gi.
