Distilled water doesn't boil, so that's why its used in anything that might have heat involved (like steamers) it won't boil over and cause injury to anyone.

I have been thinking to ask for the sterle water of the month club for Christmas. I'd really like a 30 six ounce bottles of sterele water to show up on my door step each month. I am just not as complient as I should be on my sinus rinses because boiling the water and then letting it cool is a huge pain.
