Is it possible to have a negative IRT, negative Sweat Test and still have CF?

At our hospital's website, there is an online appt request form where you can give your info and state your preferences re which dr you would like to see, etc. It asks you who the referring physician is and if they have sent in the required paperwork. Pulmonary is one of the departments on this form, and this is an accredited, very reputable center. Emily was seen when another dr ordered her sweat test, it was positive, and she called pulmonary herself- and of course the center director saw the results himself (he is notified of all new potential diagnoses.)
