<br />I had saved some threads under favorites -- but when I click not all of the me work -- perhaps something to do with changing the site. But I will post the threads that did work. I have changed a few things since these were posted, particularly with the supplements. Almost everything else is what I do follow.

Glad to see you check in Nightwriter! I've thought of you too and wondered how you were doing. I'm sorry that h1n1 resulted in a setback with your health~ it hit Emily hard, too~ but glad that overall you are doing well now.

Hi Harriet! Hope that Emily is doing well -- I'm sure she is -- I know how on top of things you are.

Hi Lost Miler, sometimes I look forward to treatment times because I know I can catch up on things. You'll find the threads interesting as opposed to just posts. Some interesting discussions and sometimes can track changes in people's health as they change their lifestyles. When you finish those, if you want a few more, I can search them for you.

By the way, an interesting story. Sometimes, I wear a thick charcoal mask, especially to avoid things like truck or bus exhaust. I was crossing a very wide street and was wearing my mask. A car with a group of men (not kids) starting making fun of my mask, howling... laughing at me. Are people crazy? If someone is wearing a mask, wouldn't you assume they have a serious medical problem? Anyway, I do get stares -- I don't care. Hey, my gardener wears a mask! Anyway, beats being sick for weeks.

This past winter has been hard on my dd too, i can't count how many colds she has had, inspite of all precautions etc. And we don't have all these meds you are mentionning in your thread over here in Europe, at least not for kids, and she is allergic even to nasal spray!

Hi ymikhale

Sorry to hear that your daughter is getting a lot of colds. You know many colds are not caused by the rhinovirus and in fact is allergy. Especially if they last for more than 10 days. Do you use a nasal rinse? And there are many nasal sprays -- is she allergic to all of them? Zyrtec has been helping me more than Claritin. When symptomatic Zinc lozenges. Airborne. All over the counter. I also take Singulair which is now being used for nasal symptoms all though my dr has always used it off use.

Do you have a good air purifier?
