Is there a difference in enzymes?

Hi there, i'm not the one with with CF my daughter is. I just wanted to say that there is a difference with wich enyzyme you take.
She was originally put on pancrease, her stools were very sloppy and no weight gain. Then she developed a realy severe rash on her bum which took 3months to treat (poor baby she was in so much pain).
They then automatically switched her to creon and she has had none of the above problems i mentioned, infact all the opposite.

Think their child was on pancrease mt4s and zantac also on that nasty pregistimil formula. She switched from the local clinic to the U of MN and they put her son on mucomyst orally and she said completely different child -- he's started to gain weight, stools are better formed. She feels it helps get rid of the mucus in his intestinal tract?

So i devided the Lipase first and came to a number. After that i did the Amylase and that was different. I know this isnt the norm for cf patients, but i have been on the generic enzyme "Pangestyme" for years now and its been great for me. My dietitician at the clinic was so surprised to hear this. She told me they usually are not good for cf patients, but they seem to work for me.
