Then you'd only have to worry about getting labs drawn, if necessary. It's always a good idea to make sure you have a hospital or med center nearby in case there are any problems (just to be safe). We took our boys to a beach house last summer while both were on IVs every 6 hours. We took all the meds and supplies with us in a plastic 3 drawer unit. (as well as all the stuff for both g-tube feeds). We were in state so our company could send out more stuff and even send a nurse if needed (she did come for dressig changes). Its not a carefree vacation, but its better than staying at home.

our CF clinic once had to arrange for Zyvox at a pharmacy in Texas while we were on vacation. Didn't need to miss a beat!
I've always told Jess she can do anything any other kid can do (we just need to plan a little better before hand, right)

I have done IVs on vacation, yes. My home IV company only delivers within my state though. So the way we had to do it was get them delivered to us before we left, and I took them with us. Then I stored them in the fridge and did them for the week. It was fairly simple.
