issue with chest PT

Hi, It's me Scarlett81 by the way-I forgot to log in.

I've been trying to read more while I do my vest (PT), and I have a hard time concentrating. I know its partially the obvious wobbly eyeball vibration thing, but its not just that. I can't concentrate or focus-I get so agitated.
I've been trying to cut back on the internet thing while I do my PT-I've been having problems wiht headaches lately, and staring at the screen so much is making it worse.
Maybe TV is the only option for my 1 hour pt session.

I read while I do my PT. The wobbly eye thing really doesn't phase me when I'm reading, but I notice it when I'm trying to watch TV. I guess with a book - I have it up close, whereas the TV is farther away. So yeah, TV = bother. Reading = no bother.

I can not read when I do my vest it is too much vibrating and it also gets me irritated. I need to just relax and do a mindless activity like watch TV

I like to read while doing my vest as well and have found that if I
place nice squishy pillow on my lap, then set the book on that, it
has a sort of a shock absorber affect and the book doesn't shake as
much.  Of course, then my book has to fight with my cat for
pillow room, but that is another issue.  I don't know if that
will help you, but thought I'd mention it.

I use the same technique as Tami (hold book on pillow) and have no trouble reading. I also am able to work on the computer while using the vest. I sit on one of those exercise balls as a chair, and maybe it's the ability of the squishy ball to absorb or adjust to the vibrations that makes it easier to read. Anyway, that's what works for me.

I can read, like Tami I need to set the book on a table or something so I'm not holding it, I've done TV, you just have to have it really loud!!! I do the internet thing a lot now too, unless I have a good book. My brothers would always like to play games.

For me computer stuff makes the time go by fastest. I can't read either while doing the vest. I can watch tv but everytime I look at the time it seems to only be about 2 minutes have passed. Time goes so slow when I'm watching tv. Yes, Tv on super loud but the screen looks like it's wobbling or vibrating eventhough it's just my eyeballs.
