It's a Girl!!

Hi All,

It's been ages since I posted on this forum, but just wanted to announce my happy news that my baby girl arrived on Tuesday 11th May <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

For those who'd like to know she was 3.18 kg (7 lbs) and 48 cm long. Delivery was completely natural following a 6 1/2 hour labour.

Abby needed to stay in NICU (neonatal intensive care) for 24 hours due to low blood sugar (I was insulin dependent during preg), but is all well now and back at home.

I don't know how to post photos, but take my word for it she is the most beautiful baby girl in the world.

Congratulations!!! I've been wondering how you were doing and am glad to hear everything went great! I'm glad to hear she was doing good blood sugar wise too (I'm also insulin dependent).

I posted because I saw that you're from Aus too and that your name is 'littlemiss' whereas I'm 'littlemisssilly' <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I've got diabetes too and hubby and I are trying for a baby at the moment so, it's great to know that all is well with you and your new bundle of joy.
