Going against my gut feeling, I let my husband win the argument of finding out the sex of the baby.

It's a GIRL!

I'm in a bit of shock, as I really thought it was going to be another boy. I'm not sure what to do with a girl! I guess I'll figure it out as I go. I wanted to know if you other mommies are going to find out. If so, let us know!

I'm off to discover the land of PINK!

Congrats wendy!!! My daughter is a handful compared to the boys (just preparing you <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">) but SOOOOO much fun in so many different ways than the boys... and she's only 4 months old.

I just wanted to say that you are going to love having a daughter. I have 3 sons and 1 daughter (she is 10). We are so close and we have so much fun together. I cannot imagine my life without her in it. Don't get me wrong....my boys are extremely special as well and I cannot imagine not having them either...but there is definitely a special bond between a mother and her daughter!!! Congratulations!

Yey! A GIRL ...
We are also going to find out. Logistically we have someone willing to give us first year boy's clothes and another person willing to give us first year girls and we want those items in house before the baby comes. Also, we feel there's enough surprise for the day of the delivery that it will be a surprise whenever we find out.

My husband and I found out- I am having a boy. But I completly understand how you are feeling- I was convinced I was having a girl and when we found out it was a boy- I was in shock for a few days.

oh, a girl! Exciting. So far, my daughter has been a snap compared to my son - but then again, she's only 3 months! Lucky you to have one of each. Congratulations. And let me tell you, you will have no problem locating the land of pink - it's getting out of it that becomes a challenge!
