ITS SO ANNOYING

hey just a quick question!!

does anyone that suffers from c.f get tickly throat, which makes them cough loads? i do and its so annoying i was wundering if anyone could help me get rid of it?

ive tried loads of different things!!

Does this happen after a particular medication that you take or a particular food that you eat? I would pay attention to when this happens throughout the day.

I remember taking Pulmozyme and I would get a uncontrollable cough where I would be coughing non stop and I do believe I did get the tickling cough too. If your primary doctor cannot help you I would go and see a ENT doctor. That is ear, nose and throat doctor.

I hope this stops soon. sometimes I would rub the upper corners of my chest above the breast near your collarbone. There are accupressure points for the lungs and this will help you. Rub with your fist going to the right. Do this for ten seconds on each side. When rubbing your left side rub toward the left.

Sometimes if you are congested in your sinuses you can get a tickling sensation in your throat. That is why it is good to see the ENT.

i havent really notivced it with any particular food or medication yeah i might have to mention this to my doctor see what they say.

yah it happens to me i am alyssa and i'm 14 yrs old and i have cf ever since i was 1 and it happens to me all the time theres nothing u can do to get rid of it and DON'T do cough drops cause with cystic fibrosis you need to cough and the cough drops would stop you from coughing and HARM YOU!!!
