well that sucks because with PGD there is a great chance for multiples right? Isaac is doing beautifully...I'm doing okay. I think once I get my life in order things will be great. Just dreaming on another one... I don't think I can handle multiples (pregnancy or motherhood wise) though and since I don't think I could live with myself and reducing I don't think PGD is for us. Hopefully they will figure out how to see the mutations in just the sperm stage not embryo stage soon.

Lauren,

I feel the same way on multiples and won't do selective reduction either. DH is a twin and he agrees. He wants to find a doc willing to put in only one embryo and take our chances, trying several times if necessary. Not sure any doc would do that but I like the idea, and it makes more sense in the long run financially too.

Bonnie, How much will each procedure cost? Does your insurance cover PGD? Sounds like it could get pricey if multiple implants are needed in order to "take."
