I just wanted to post some good news. I know there are always families looking for info about this topic. We had our second child through this amazing technology and just did another round. We opted only for one round and created two embryos. The PGD testing has revealed two healthy embryos! No CF, just carriers. Now we pray they survive the thaw and we have a successful pregnancy. Just wanted to give hope to other families who struggle with this. In our 4 rounds of IVF, we have never had to make a difficult decision about CF affected embryos. <div><br></div><div>Megan, mom to Aidan 6 with CF and Gavin 4 no CF </div><div><br></div>

<br>Hi MeganCongratulations on your success with PGD!  I hope that you have luck with the next round.  I remember asking you about this years ago and I have been absent from the boards.  We just completed a cycle of IVF/PGD as well, however, we were not successful.  We had 3 embryos that made it through the PGD process.  We transferred 2 the first time and I had a chemical.  I just did the FET and got the results on Mon, BFN.  We are paying for this out of pocket, so it's tough to see so much money spent with a negative result.  DH wants to see this through and wants to go again.  I'm pretty upset at the moment, but am determined to grow our family.  I wish you the best on your cycle. Carla Btw, if you don't mind me asking, were you successful with your first cycle?
