Do you know which hospital he is at? I know he was double listed and the one hospital was UPENN.

He is at Columbia and he is still waiting to hear as of right now if the lungs are a go. Long wait for the poor guy... Hopefully no news truly is good news and these will be the lungs for him...... They are not local lungs so it takes a bit longer

I just saw on FB, the surgeon didn't accept the lungs. So it was a Dry-Run.

When I met with my good friend Jerry last summer, he had just "found out", he was Number 13 on the transplant list. Jerry was in disbelief. Jerry, as you know, does everything to keep himself healthy. Many of you now exercise with oxygen and follow his lead. Jerry also thought he was high on the transplant list. He just didn't know what his number was or that he was so far down the list till last summer!
Looks like Jerry has made the top of the list and we will hear soon, this soldier has new lungs and for that I am very grateful!

Any good news yet? I am pulling for him, he came to our CF conference here in Omaha, NE a couple of years ago and spoke and boy is he an inspiration. Sending good vibes and prayers his way.
