Thanks for all the info guys and gals!!!!! I will definitely be waiting until I know that I am offered a position With my last interview (for my current job) they told me right up front about the benefits because they are AWESOME! It will truly be a rough decision to make to leave this place

Just some other thoughts that have not been mentioned. It sounds like you really like the job you already have. It is pretty stressful to change jobs. Sometimes it can take up to 6 months to get into a new groove. That is something to consider for your health. If the drive is one of your main concerns, have you ever tried doing some of your nebs on the road to save some time in the morning. Just a thought. I hope your interview goes really well and, who knows maybe they will bring up benefits to you like your current job did Best of luck!

Yeah I know Karen and it does concern me. Right now I am trying to decide if I should pursue my career and try to get a little bit more out of my degree before I have to stop working or stay where I like and now they will accomodate me. I figure it can't hurt to just go on the interview and then I can decide if I really feel drawn to this place. I really have no stress at my job at all. They know I am not looking to move up to the next position so I am not worried about having to interact with clients and field phone calls - which are HUGE stressors to me. (Maybe I just answered my own question about leaving haha!).

In the mornings I don't do my nebs in the car unless its a TOBI month because I like to do my pulmo in the morning with my vest and that I can't do in the car When I go to the gym after work I do my neb in the car. Its not so much the time getting up (though it does stink) but that I take the turnpike and with tolls, and gas its expensive plus if there is an accident or just overly congested it can take me forever to get to work One day it took me 4+ hours because of an accident!

hi amy,

my advice is to ask a general benefits question in the interview if it comes up -- like if they ask if you have any questions at the end. don't force it or get into specifics, make it like you are inquiring about all benefits (paid holidays, 401k, etc.) then if you actually get an offer, i would go straight to the HR person with more specific questions.

good luck!
