Hi All--I had a nice conversation with Dr. Mogayzel today. He summarized Adam's test results. We go next week for a follow-up and a more detailed discussion. His sweat test came back borderline again--46. As for the NPD, I do not have the actual report yet, by his baseline was normal but the last measurement was more indicative of CF. His lungs looked normal on the CT scan. His sinuses showed some thickening on the right side.

He is going to review all of Adam's history and the new results before we go for our follow-up. He confirmed a definite dx of pancreatic insufficiency. He indicated that he is leaning toward a dx of "atypical cf." If so, he is going to start Adam on some sort of lung program.

I will get more details and reports next week........

I am impressed with Dr. M and hope to continue to use Hopkins for Adam's care.

Thanks for listening,

Chris

We go to Hopkins as well - they're amazing!

Good luck on figuring out what's going on. I know how frustrating it is when they're trying to get things settled, but you've got the best team working for you!

We used to be seen at the Johns Hopkins Clinic when we were living in Baltimore. Dr. M and his team were wonderful.
