Josh's pancrease is no longer producing insuline......

So today we found out that Josh's pancrease is failing. It is no longer working to help with the insuline. his blood sugars are all over reaching 700.....they r talking taking it out. Has anyone had any experience with this. We r bothvery worried.

yes but it's all new to us....he has had some problems while in the hospital but this is way worse, he hadn't eaten ALL day and it was still in the 400s. Just having more bad news is kind of frustrating. Plus the drs are talking about taking out the pancrease. Just all very overwelming. plus he just found out he has MRSA, and B. Cepacia. so it has been a very rough month.

yes but it's all new to us....he has had some problems while in the hospital but this is way worse, he hadn't eaten ALL day and it was still in the 400s. Just having more bad news is kind of frustrating. Plus the drs are talking about taking out the pancrease. Just all very overwelming. plus he just found out he has MRSA, and B. Cepacia. so it has been a very rough month.
