Judging a CFer for his looks.....

Didn't mean to offend you.Livin in the wild west of Ireland we don't see enough sun to have the priviledge of tans etc at the moment anyhow.Maybe its a culture thing but pale and pasty is the general colour of my son's skin when he is sick!!!!
Wouldnt mind a moive to asia though,sure it will do great things for his chest!ha ha

*Sigh* Julie, you're one lucky woman. I think the only time I ever wonder if someone has CF or not, is when I hear them coughing, and they're slender framed. I know that not all CFers are thin, but majority of us do have weight issues. That being said, I don't think CF has a "typical" look. People are always surprised when I tell them that I have CF. I'm always told that I don't look sick.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0"> Whatever that means...

Everyone says I don't look like I have cf. Sometimes its actually annoying, if i really don't feel well or need help or that last handicapped spot.....But I'd rather that than look sick, sure.

I can tell if you have CF by the way you look. I know that sounds wierd but I've never been wrong. As for the help big dave thing... something does seem fishy b/c it used to be about getting his wife help. FYI
