Thanks everyone for your sweet words and hope for us, we really appreciate it. I am reading these posts outloud to Mark and he says, "Tell them I appreciate the comments".
Initially I had just sent in a photo of me because, as some of you know, Mark is very quiet about his CF. Not to be confused with denial, but he just doens't think its relevant to tell people about his CF, talk about it, put a photo of him next to anything CF related.... (except for at the CF walks when he says, "I am the one with CF"). I asked him a few times, as the moderators asked for a photo of both of us, but he kept saying no, he didn't want a photo of him posted-he won't even let me put one on our CF male infertility site. Then we got to talking one day and he said he would like it to be a picture of us, I was floored. So at the last minute, I sent a photo into the moderators hoping it wasn't too late. So there we are, I am really glad everyone gets so see what he looks like too. I think it's always much nicer to put a face with a name.
As far as the baby thing, there is a potential that we might be able to do it in Feburary, but we will have to fly back here to CA and my new command is being wishey washey about letting me take 2 weeks of leave to come back here. The real concern is that they have to start me on all the meds 30-45 days in advance so I can't wait for the last minute for them to say yeah or neah-very frustrating. I also have a "scholarship" for IVF pending with an non-profit organization INCIID (<a target=new class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.inciid.org">www.inciid.org</a>) but they ask you not to contact them regarding the staus of the application, so it's a wait and pray thing. And as some of you know, I am scheduled to deploy in April, so if I don't do the IVF in february, it will be nxt year this time that we will be considering a family again. I hate waiting, especially since we have been "working" at this for almost two years.
I know I shouldn't have, but I went wandering in to the rand new babiesRus that just opened down the street from our house, I love going but then afterwards I wonder why I torture myself like that.
Oops, this wasn't suppose to be a rant.... just a thank you. Sorry about that.
Thanks to all for your very kind workds. I hope everyone has an opportunity to benefit from the articles that they are putting on this site. There is more information to come about, tax deductions, food expenses as tax deductions, the SSI/SSDI infection logs and many more things. The IT dept. is working on it and they will be posted, so I hope people can benefit greatly!
