Hello everyone I spoke with Lo's mom tonight, and
there has been some change. Lo is in ICU on Bi-pap 24
hours a day. When she went into ICU her CO2 was 71,
then they got it down to 48, and yesterday was back up
to 58. Her lung function a week ago was 13%. She is
being given Vancomycin, Cefapem, Zofran, and Adavan.
They have told them that they might have the family
come up so they can talk to Lo because if they have to
ventilate her they don't think the outcome looks good.
Her mom is just praying for a miracle, and said
finding a set of matching lungs (they were told by
dr.) will be diffucult due to Lo being so small,
having antibodies built up to her donor lungs she has
now, and in the time frame they are needing them. So
please just keep Lo and her family in your prayers,
and church prayer lists, and pray for a new set to
arrive in time for Lo.
