Hi!

Hope everyone is doing well. All is well here. Courtney has her first CF Clinic appointment at Dell Childrens on Oct 5. We are excited about that!

Courtney is doing well. She had to see the doc yesterday for yet again, another sinus infection but they got her on antibiotics.

I can't believe I am about to say this but, COURTNEY WILL BE TURNING 18 ON SUNDAY! Unbelievable! I can remember when she was diagnosed 8 years ago crying and thinking we might not see her turn 18 but here we are! She is a senior in high school and getting prepped to go off to college! She has done real good with the move and is enjoying her new high school. I am so proud of her! She still struggles with taking her meds, but I am hoping that this new clinic will get on her case and find some way to show her how important it is to stay compliant.

I do visit here often and check in on everyone, just dont post that much anymore. Everyone is in my thoughts and prayers everyday!

I will keep her in my prayers, as well as your whole family <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> It's typical to to struggle with taking your meds at that age, I am 23 and I take them religiously but I went through a period my 11th and 12th grade year of high school when I struggled too. I was embarrassed but I also just wanted to feel "normal". Over time she will get better! I wish her all the best in college, that is a great accomplishment. Enjoy your Sunday, I hope her 18th birthday is amazing! God Bless

I cannot believe Courtney is 18! Those milestones are so important for a mom. ((hugs))
