Just had to sceam it "My Lil Man is 3". Three Years! How far we have came in just a few years. Three years ago I was a scared woman with a baby with a Bowel obstruction down the hall. Having no idea why! I didn't even know what cf even stood for.

Now I'm a tough Mommy of a tough toddler. We still celebrate the day he came home...Sept 25th..40 days in the NICU and we haven't gone back! Life really does just become a "NEW KIND OF NORMAL". Just putting some hope out there!

Yea! Isn't it amazing how time seems to just fly. Somedays it just seems like it was yesterday DS was born and in the NICU under similar circumstances.

You sound so confident, strong-just what a good mama should be.

Just to give you some perspective....28 yrs ago, there was a mother holding a baby in the ICU, thinking the same thing as you thought 3 yrs ago, with the same fears, and the same battles year after year...
I'm that baby, and now I have my own 3 yr old...
We have all come far indeed, with hard hard work!

And yes, we make our own normal! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
