Here's hoping for poop! After DS' surgery a couple years ago the nurses kept asking if he passed gas or pooped constantly and we said you'll KNOW, we'll be cheering. And when things finally broke loose we were THRILLED. Amazing the things we get excited about. :)

Tuesday.....he pooped 2 times!!!! Now he is started to hold his pee:( he has peed strong yesterday. But now he is afraid to let it go! He won't use the bathroom because it's dark and scary. I brought his potty from home, and it's in our room. He was doing well but either it's him being embarrassed or it's still painful because of the 4 cafaters he has had inserted. Driving me nuts!! Praying we can go home in the am. We have no iv no tubes no attibottics. The girl next store a nimonia. I'm ready to go !!

We had issues with DS and the bathroom as well and he was 5. As for peeing, they brought in a jug for him. Granted he was on IVs and pushing lots of fluids and had to pee constantly, PLUS we were wrestling with a PICC and IV trying to run to the bathroom, but it was helpful. Couple times we needed to use pull ups because once he started going, it was very quick. He thought we should get some for home, so he wouldn't have to get up while playing video games.

Continuing to pray for you. I remember how exciting the first poop was for us. I'm not at all ashamed to say I have a picture of it! It was a milestone!

That's the 1st thing I did....took a picture:) when my husband came in for his "shift" I went shopping for our boy. I also picked up some balloons. Johnny was so cute he has been taking them out for his walks. Been awake all night, like it's Xmas. Can't wait for the surgeon to show up. I'm going to be so disappointed if we dont get released. Lungs are100% no tubes no iv's no leads..he is eating, pooping, peeing. Ahhh, I will update you later. For some reason I can't respond to private messages w/my iPad. Thanks Liza for all your kind messages:)
