Hi,
I was in your shoes a few years ago. i got married when I was 19 to a marine. I lived in SC and he was stationed in California. We lasted 3 years. Military life was not for me. I need roots and I did not like being uprooted every so many years. you have to look in yourself and ask yourself if you can really leave your family. When you get ill, who will be there? When you have problems or need someone to lean on, who will be there?
My family is everything to me. I have since re-married and I live about 2 hours from my entire family. My hospital is in the middle so whenever I need to go in, they are still there for me. Without them, I don't know what I would do.
