Since we got a handle on Chase's CF and he is now able to do all the things by and large that other kids his age do we are going though a high speed series of growing up stages almost one on top of the other. The latest is his school work and up until this year Chase's grades have always been excellent to the point that they moved him into accelerated classes. This year we can't get him to do squat and he's just keeping his grades barely high enough to pass and won't give you the truth about a single thing.
I realize the first 6 years of his life he wasn't able to do much of anything but stay indoors read and watch TV and the last 4 years he's finally able to go outside play and do all sorts of things that he could never do before so I try to be patient and wait for all of these phases to pass. But sometimes I just want to strangle him knowing full well it will get me no where and it would be nice if these phases would slow down a little, we no sooner get thru one and we're into another.
I feel better now rather here than at him.
