Was his sister a member here? I recall reading about a pwcf who I THOUGHT was in similar circumstances...

I've been a stern fan since I was like 12 (18 years ago) I knew of his appearances. They were talking about his death on the show this week but I missed some of the details. I just heard minutes ago that he had CF, I yelled at the radio "WHAT!?" The guy famous for blowing smoke out of his eyes has CF? AND he lived to 39 and kept his CF a secret all these years.

Makes me feel like we take CF too seriously sometimes, though he may have had a mild case growing up. I don't recall him coughing much on the radio.

Yeah, that was a weird deal. I'm only a recent Stern fan by comparison (since he came to Sirius) but the news of Kenneth Keith was really disturbing. He must have had a "mild mutation" to be able to keep his CF from his friends, but after only a month or so of no treatments he went downhill fast. It's a sad deal, and shows how this disease can get away from you if you let it.
