Many of you know that the past 9 months have been nothing shy of ups and downs (mostly downs).

My FEV1 (September 2008) was 65% which it had been for about 5-6 years. Well it dropped to 49% after having tried to take care of the foster boys. It rebounded to 65% after weeks of hard IVs. In April it dropped back down to 55% when I thought things were "going good".

Well I went to clinic this past Monday, and now I'm at 50%...

My CF doctor wants me on Cipro 750 mg BID AND Doxy 100 mg BID for the next 21 DAYS!!! He describes it as a "bump in the road"; however it's more like "falling off a cliff" to me...

Ever since I took in those foster boys, I can't rebound...I just need a lot of support...I'm so disgusted...<img src="i/expressions/brokenheart.gif" border="0">

The best thing you can do is try to be as active as possible, you will get run down but push past it, keep on going and the next thing you know you will get better, I've had the bumps in the road for about 20-25 now im showing positive sings of my pfts going up and having fewer infections over the last year, what i do know is that if you let it get to you it will pull you down more, tread the water and get back to sea level, which means its gonna take action on your part to stay active and positive, if religous then pray more doing that keeps your mind active on one thing, getting better, say you feel great when you really dont that works for me, just dont let it drag you down. = )
