Are you telling me that you had over a 20% dip and you are not being treated with antibiotics? Zithromax 3x a week is not a therapeutic dose of antibiotic, it is used for its macrolide effect. Perhaps you were mistaken on your previous 80's range? If not I would be very adamant about some serious cipro or IV's.

I'm with Nicole, if you dipped down that much I would expect ivs or stronger orals. Zithro is usually used as maintainence, not to beat something off. I hope it does work for you though!!!

im sorry i didnt include all the info...My fev1 did drop that far and my doc got a sputum culture from me today so he can find out the best route and care plan to calm the infection down. He will be calling me tomorrow with the results and will probably be prescribing cipro. Last time it was 1000mg 2x a day. I used to be on zithro 3x a week until my crappy insurance declined a refill.
