I haven't noticed a problem, but what's probably causing the SOB is your posture. If you're not able to walk properly in heels, don't wear them. You could cause a lot of damage to your back, which, in turn, could impact your lung function.

Thanks guys!!!

I have been wearing heels for years and I only noticed the problem recently...otherwise I would think I couldn't walk in them. Plus I buy the ones with straps so that I don't get paranoid they are gonna fall off

Nope, haven't noticed it. I have found they actually help my posture (helps me hold myself to keep my tummy tucked and chest out). They kill my hips though and lower back if I wear them too long... try to only wear them for a couple of hours (church) and I take flats with me just in case.

Interesting, i wear heels to work just about evey day and climb up and down stairs in them, walk into and around town in them and can't say i've ever noticed a problem with being short of breath, or any difference at all from when i'm wearing flats. I walk really fast too i've been told, my short legged friends have to nearly run to keep up with me
