Last night's IDOL?

I haven't liked Sway since they did the group and he didn't know ANY of the words to the song. Taylor is just very charming, but not obnoxious- different in a nice way.

I'd love to see Paula kick Brenna's butt.

Today, I was asking my high school students if anyone could tell me what happened on IDOL, they all said they don't watch. BUT, as I was walking around, they all gave me their comments about last night. SEE, I KNEW IT. WE ARE ALL CLOSET IDOL FANS. Mindless entertainment, just what we all need.

My favourites are Paris (tiny African American) for the girls, and Ace Young (sexy sexy SEXY!) for the guys! I'm obsessed with this show!!

Caren, are you and I soul sisters? Because Taylor Hicks and Kelly Pickler are my faves too! Although, I expect that will change, its too early to tell.
I think she's adorable, and really sweet and Taylor's so original. I love the hot bald guy too though.

I really like the bald guy (Chris Daugherty) and Katharine (her mom is a singing coach- long brown hair). I think Kelly Pickler is cute, but may get to be too much. Taylor Hicks is awesome & my son is rooting for Paris. Anyway, it will be a good season <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

i really like the guys this year....totally going to be a guy to win!!! my fave's are Taylor (grey haired guy) and i really lik<b>ed</b> Patrick...who got voted off on the first epsiode. my family as a whole is voting for ayla..but i don't get it. (guess its a boston thing)

Kate, I agree about the Boston thing, loyalty and all. I also agree about the guys! The are so much more interesting than the girls.

Sorry...I know this should be in the other subject section, but I have to throw in my 2 cents.

The final 2 guys, IMHO,(in my humble opinion) will be Chris Daughtry ("the bald guy") and Taylor Hicks ("the grey haired guy"). Ace Young truly makes my toes curl though. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0">

I really don't think a girl will win this year, but if I had to pick the final 2... I would say that Katharine McPhee and Lisa Tucker will stay around the longest.

Idol causes the phones and computers to be turned off around here during the shows. (Austin hides in his room, on his computer though) My daughter, Raquel is a singer, and she wants to audition someday. She is only 12, so she has time to practice...lol

This is how serious Idol is around here; my mom and Austin walked in the front door on Valentine's Day, during the show, and I yelled, "Quiet! Idol is on!" and my mom gave me a dirty look, said (with anger in her eyes and voice) "Well, fine! Happy Valentine's Day to you, too!" and stormed out the door. I know, I know...how mean of me. But in my defense, I did call her, when the show was over, and apologize. Shame on me. <img src="i/expressions/devil.gif" border="0">
