late diagnosis

hi,im new to this cf site <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> i was diagnosed with cf at 14 and i only managed to find one other person in the same situation on the irish site,anybody else in the same situation? it would be nice to know im not that different <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Welcome! I hope you like it here with us. I was diagnosed at birth, but there are a lot of people on here that were diagnosed late, one I think was 50-something. So you are not weird!

Welcome and you will find many many here just like you!!! My daughter was diagnosed at 3 but she showed signs of CF from birth. I had to literally print out pages of CF info from the internet and take that into her pediatrician for him to actually send us to a Pulmonolgy Specialist. Wasnt too long after that my suspicions were confirmed.

Nope, not that different
