You would think it would be super thick that you'd have to use a spoon, but its not quite that thick. It takes a while to drink because its so rich tasting though. Its gooood!

My late night snacks include anything...except apple sauce!!!
After having apple sauce to take my pills...every time I ate...for the first 4 years of my life...the very site of it alone makes me cringe!

I actually had to learn to NOT eat anything during the middle of the night!
For one reason, the EX (yea, it started with her!) forbade me to eat anything at night. But, it was worth it, when I didn't really HAVE to eat anything. I had developed less stomach aches then.
But, after a while, when i was real active with Aikido, I didn't have enough in me and was starving in the middle of the night, so I just took a few tablespoons of Strawberry Jam (The only Jam in the house) to pick up my sugar level, so I could go back to sleep.
Now, I still try to avoid eating anything during the night, or at least make sure I had something to eat a half hour previous to going to bed.

Before then, I used to attack the cereal cabinet when I was living in the States!

jeez, i feel like a real square.
normally, i'll drink water or soy milk at night and if i'm snacking, it's usually nibbling on like 4 crackers or eating a banana.
must be something wrong with me :)

Haha, I come across this post as I'm eating a steak and a baked potato at 2am! I'm so bad with eating, due to a combination of tempermental appetite, a crazy schedule (I work 3pm-11pm), and plain old laziness -- so when I suddenly get the urge for a real meal and am motivated enough to actually make it, who cares what time it is! And Sean actually inspired this late night meal because I read his drunken randomness posting, and apparently all I got from it was "Mmmm, steak" because next thing I knew I was popping dinner in the oven. So thanks Sean, my doctor appreciates it!

Reminds me of one of my favorite stupid CF comments stories -- in my college Intro to Bio book there was like a paragraph about CF, which included this memorable statement: "Patients take enzymes in apple sauce before every meal." And this was in a COLLEGE TEXT BOOK! I couldn't decide whether to be apalled or crack up! My mom thought it was hilarious, she said, "Yeah, we have to go pick up your enzyme fortified apple sauce at the pharmacy!"

I swear SeanDavis you can think of the craziest things to get us all talking about, it keeps me very entertained at work- so thank you!

Anyways, I didn't think I had any real cravings until I caught myself last night begging my husband to go down to the gas station and get me some DORITOES!!(which he did) I won't let him get more than one bag at a time (which reallly drives him crazy because it's not his favorite thing to leave at night and get me food) because I will eat every last one of them as fast as my stomach will let me.

It's kinda funny -I just read this back to myself and I really sound pregnant, my poor husband, at least with pregnansy it's over in 9 months. Oh well- the price of love.

And I'm not pregnant!! Just wanted to make that clear

What about salt and vinegar chips?

My mother was British, and she liked to eat them. Although I prefer a nice Shepards Pie topped with creamy buttery potots

Late night munchies for me are whatever I can find. A banana or yougurt or cottage cheese with a cracker will keep my stomach happy. Sometimes a boost or ensure drink.

I will eat anything I can get my hands on late night.. Usually I will eat cereal.. Captain Crunch with Berries..but latelty that is to crunchy and hurts the roof of my mouth.. Last night, I think for sure this is steroid related but I ate a whole stick of peparoni... the whole thing.. before I knew it, it was gone.... I also ate....humus and crackers...and a turkeyburger

I love cold pizza.. anytime with milk lately... pretty much on Pred burts I go from the top shelf of my refrige to the bottom.. and I am still hungry.... I wish somehow they could bttle the hunger effect that steroids give you without the side effects for everyone else who needs to gain weight.. you guys would be in my shoes... and need to lose weight...
