Leaking E-flow

I'm on my second e-flow. They both are doing the same thing. Medicine is puddling up in the chamber .... right past the aerosol head and blue rubber gasket. They figured the first one was defective but now to have a second one doing the same thing???

Anyone know why it would be doing this?

I'm following the directions to the 'T' except for more sterilization. They recommend boiling 1x/wk. I'm microwaving the plastic parts (not the aerosol head) in a steam sterilizer. Nothing appears warped or mis-shapen...
hmm.
I'll call them tomorrow but hoping you all can help.

Mine does the same thing. I'm convinced it's just condensation from the aerosol contacting the plastic chamber and dripping down. I can always pour out a little albuterol after each treatment. As far as I know my e-flow doesn't leak anywhere I can see. Hope this helps.

I always wonder if too much sterilizing can cause leakages like that....with my eflow I did the sterilizing once or maybe twice a week and never had any problems with leaks. If the boiling could make the plastic deteriorate because of the constant heat.

Let us know what you find out.

Mine does the same thing. So I stopped sterilizing it daily. I still get some in the chamber. I also think it is condensation. I find more there on muggy or humid days. I think we didn't notice it in the Pari neb because it mixed right back in with the medicine.
