Thank you all so much for you replies. I wish I could say that he is having growning pains, but he has barely grown in two years. He probably is deficient in something that is causing the pains. He also has mild autism and adhd, so he is being treated with a biomedical approach where he has a dairy free diet (partially gluten free) and takes minerals and supplements including calcium and magnesium as well as probiotics. We had a lot of testing done concerning his "gut" and he had absolutely no good bacteria in his body, which was interesting. I also wonder if he does turn out to have CF if he has been doing so well this long because of the biomedical treatment he has been on. His intenstinal problems improved so much after we started the biomedical treatment. As a matter of fact, when we began the special diet a few years ago he gained two pounds in one month which was huge! But then he tapered off again and he goes back and fourth, gains a pound-loses 2 and so on. We may get the results of his genetic test today. If he does have CF, I feel like we will be able to move on and start making him grow and feel better. I am glad I found this site because I have learned so much between here and the CFF site. Thanks for your support.
