Leg pain when at rest, helped by moving/standing?

I've had this infrequent pain that sometimes happens in my tights, knees, shins, ankles or whole leg all the way to my foot arch that partially or completely goes away when moving or standing up and walking. It's not really helped by massaging the area(s). The pain itself is always diffuse and it sometimes gets close to being a burning sensation, without really reaching that point. I'm not sure, but it does not seem like arthritis to me. It is unlike the pain that I get when taking Levaquin, so I guess it's not joint pain, unless joint pain can take many forms. I get this kind of pain maybe 4 to 6 times a year.
It also reminds me of the ankle pains that I had a regularly as a kid, where the pain seemed to be deep inside the soft spot on top of my ankle and would sometimes radiate in my leg and foot, except that pain didn't go away when moving.

Note that it has always been the same leg, my right/dominant leg. Even when I was a kid.

Have any of you experienced something similar?
