I used to be on Lexapro, although that was years ago and I don't remember the dosage. I do remember that it worked pretty well for the depression. The first several days with it were rocky though, which is most often the case when starting a medication like that. It usually takes 2 or more weeks to really feel like a new person. Be patient with yourself.

I'm currently going through an adjustment of my medications myself. I understand how nervous you might be, and also your hope that you don't get worse. Remember that the depression is not "you", it's just something your brain doing right now to try to cope with things that are overwhelming. Don't beat yourself up, just be patient and keep in close touch with you doc so they know what's going on with you and can make sure to get you dialed into the right medication dosage ASAP.

All the best,
Lauren

Thanks Lauren
I am going back in 2 weeks and hopefully Lexapro makes a diffrence !
The dosage is 1 pill once a day ,10mg .
I almost didnt tell my doctor that i was getting more and more depressed because i knew she was going to put me on antidepressants and i was skeptical.
Hopefully she proves me wrong..<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
