Life Expectancy in Europe

In Europe, as seen on EMEA website (EMEA is the European medical agency, especially in charge of Orphan designation)
Prevalence is 1 CF/10,000 inhabitants (As 500 Millions, you can do the calculation)

Higher prevalency in Ireland (nearly 3 this mean more 1000 for this tiny country), lower in Eastern Europe like Romania, Bulgaria, but data in these countries are no reliable

A survey done by Farrel on CF in various country can be found on pubmed web site

Yes, Your are right
In Europe, 27 years old is the average given by some surveys.
We think, it is a little bit higher and should be between 30 to 35

I got my info from our CF doctor.

But there are only 7 people living in Iceland whith CF so they don't have that must experince. So i think they are geting this info from USA.
