Life insurance for an adult with CF???

Does anyone know where I can get additional life insurance that wont have a high premium? I have 2 policies now, both which I pay monthly. One is from an old employer that allowed me to keep it if I just paid it which is nice. The other is one that I pay myself monthly. Both are low amounts. Has anyone had any luck with getting lfe insurance over the age of 33 with CF?

I got the health insurance when I was 23, after I got married. It is not a lot that's why I am working on getting a new policy...Well see how that goes. Kristen,

Just an FYI: We had life insurance on my newborn (at the time) son. My idiot step mother in law called Gerber to pull out a second policy, disclosed his CF (which had not been diagnosed when we got the original policy), and they canceled the first one. We have not been able to obtain any since!

i, too, am under the impression that if i disclose that i have cf i will be turned down; and, i will have to disclose it because i cannot lie. it's not in me! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

31 y.o, dx'd at 5 weeks old, cf-related diabetes, chronic pancreatitis, D.I.O.S. (intestinal issue that mimics being blocked up...), lots of crazy drug and antibiotic reactions (anyone else out there?), clot issues due to central lines (anyone else have this issue?), etc., etc.

p.s. what an absolutely beautiful baby boy you have. congrats! how old is he?

Having 2 insurance policy, you still want to have one? Check on the internet, there are several insurance company that you can select. Just talk to their agents for more details and info, maybe through them they can assist you to your preferences.
