To clarify, the 36.5 years life expectancy is not the <i>average</i> it is the <i>median</i> life expectancy. The average adds all number values (in this case, age) then divides by the total # of people. Median is the value where 50% of the people are above and 50% of the people are below so it is not as impacted by 'outlier' values.

IMHO - Statistics are only for fund raising! Really. Would anybody give if they said 'A CFer can live until age 70'? You also have to understand how they derive the statistics, which is probably a highly guarded secret.

IMHO - Statistics are only for fund raising! Really. Would anybody give if they said 'A CFer can live until age 70'? You also have to understand how they derive the statistics, which is probably a highly guarded secret.
