I talked to Lauren today. She sounded up beat and ready to have this surgery! Her PFT's have been higher and she is feeling better--says she actually likes the hospital food! By now she is back in her room and sleeping--I hope. I told her we were all praying for her and wished her well. Hope he hubby has time tO post later. Sh can't get a good computer connection--drat!

The surgery went GREAT. The doctor told us that everything turned out well, and Lauren was up and talking (and asking for company in the recovery room) not long after he was done. I stayed around until she was ready to fall asleep... it's been a long day for us both, and I'm about ready to do the same.
