Tomorrow is now yesterday, your journey's now a quest,
You'll show the world that you have changed, you'll turn out for the best!
You got the call you waited for, at 2 AM it came.
The process now in motion, you'll never be the same.
We're told that you insisted, no way you could have waited,
You stood - you stepped - when you were extubated.
Your journey's now a footrace, no green bottle by your side.
You'll take deep breaths, you'll walk then run, you'll even take 'great strides'.
Your friends here on the forum wait impatiently for word
Of any news of progress, and this is what we've heard....
She's Superwoman, doing more than any could expect
But this is what we've come to know, the Lindsey we respect.
We cannot wait for you to post more thoughts and information
Your blogs have brought us to both tears and true jubilation.
You've shared your fears, your hurts and thoughts of total insight
You've won our hearts, dear Lindsey, and now we share your fight.
We pray for you to get well soon, and return with greater strength!
Then we can join in the chat room and we'll talk at length!
Rest now, breath easy, and recuperate...
Your 'whole new world' does now await!
