If I may be so rude as to hi-jack your thread, I wanted to ask Ferris if she has seen any studies on if there is any reason why someone with blood clots/clotting disorders should not use the Fizzy NAC?

I haven't <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">

Dr. Moss at Stanford is pretty quick at responding to emails, though. You can definitely ask him.

Hi Saveferris2009 any idea where I could purchase the fizzy NAC, I am from the UK. I have been using the oral NAC so I am eager the change. Thanks for your help..

i know Astellas pharma sells NAC as a prescription in contental Europe (namely Austria and Europe).

Have you ever asked your doc for an Rx?

If worse comes to worse, you can get a prescription of Mucomyst (NAC for nebulization)and drink it. I'm not sure it works as well as fizzy NAC, but I know some CFer's do that here in the States.

If worse comes to worse, you can get a prescription of Mucomyst (NAC for nebulization)and drink it. I'm not sure it works as well as fizzy NAC, but I know some CFer's do that here in the States.
