liver enzymes

My husband's had a tx work up and the tests revealed elevated liver enzymes. He is scheduled to see a liver specialist -- in three months. Just wondered if any of you had faced this, and what, if anything did they do for you. Is this something that goes up and down? I seem to remember him having pancreatitis and his liver enzymes being elevated a few years ago. I also know his CF specialist physically checks him every so often to see if it is enlarged. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, j

My liver enzyme levels were high a couple years ago too. They did an ultrasound on me to see what was going on. They told me that my liver had some fat build up on it and that was causing the high levels. For now they are just keeping an eye on it ...to make sure the levels dont get higher. I hope everything goes ok for your hubby. Take care!Dea
