Liver question

My daughter had an appointment with her GI specialist yesterday who strongly believes CF is the cause of her health problems (or immunodeficiency). While examining the abdomen she says she is percussing the top portion of her liver about 3cm lower than normal. When I questioned the significance she didn't seem to want to say right away then simply said "could be CF related". Anyone else experience this?

DS has had issues with elevated liver enzymes and was put on urisidiol/actigall (bile salts). Since some people wcf also tend to have liver issues, they do bloodwork annually and the doctor palpitates, checks his liver during his regular doctor appointments. We were also told that when he hits his teen years, they look at doing an ultrasound to check his gallbladder.
