Ok, I have had an idea in mind for some time for a tattoo to get when I get into medical school.

It is intended to blend medicine w/CF; and while I know what I want I suck as an artist.

Wondering if anyone on here has an artistic touch and would be interested in collaborating on this project with me??

Just think it would be cool to have someone w/CF ties as the artist rather than just pay some dude at the parlor.

PM me or reply if interested (I would be willing to pay a little bit for your help).
Hi Tom, My son, his name is James was an illustrator major in college. His sister Malora has CF. He would
be interested in helping you out. He is very good.

You can email him at buckwolfe@gamail.com In the subject line put "TATTOO" he will get back to you then.

You just need to tell what you want. What style, color or black/white. He would also need to know the size and where you want it.

Joseph is a great illustrator...and his NATURE GOD is amazing...but
Hey Tom...not sure why you WANT a tatoo???? on your way to med school...I know it's young...but the people you may have to impress may not be impressed.
I just would love your thoughts...
Where are you getting it on your body?
Won't all your children and Testify want one too?

LOL, Jeanne!

I already have 2; and neither of them or the one I'm getting soon (hopefully) are visible as long as I'm dressed; which I hope to be for the duration of my interviews

As for why, I got one on this journey to medical school that is the kanji characters for Fly-Dream (which happen to be pronounced roughly as Tom); and I decided up front that when I'm accepted I'm getting one that is a synthesis of the medical symbol and CF as they are joined in my life.

As for Testify she already has one, and the kids will have to wait until they are old enough to make their own decisions.

don't get a tatoo. They aren't cool. Ask the CEO of the top of banks in the world and I bet you a million dollars none of them have tatoos. Not that you want to be a banker but ask yourself why do you think those men DONT have tatoos.
That's my two cents.

Just an FYI, you would be surprised. Having a tatoo doesn't mean anyone can see it and judge you.

You DON'T put tattoos anywhere they can be seen when you are dressed. If you have visible tattoos you are shooting yourself in the foot. Arms, hands, necks, faces are all no-no's. Lower-back and legs may be an issue depending on how you dress.

While I'm not a CEO, I am a senior manager in a large corporation and a tattoo that isn't visible isn't an issue. The one on my shoulder-blade and the one on my upper arm (above even t-shirt level) are unknown to anyone that hasn't seen me topless; which trust me nobody at work does
