Hey everyone,
It's been a long long time since I've posted in here and I was hoping to get some direction. I have a deltaF508 and R117H with a 7T/9T mutation. I was 25 when I found out and have been asymptomatic most of my life. In the past year I have developed asthma and now have great difficulty doing physical activity without the aid of an inhaler.
Up until the last 7 months I had been receiving my healthcare from Mayo Clinic. However, I'm no longer in MN and am concerned that my lung function is starting to change as I get older (I'm almost 30 now).
Does anyone know of a good place to start in the Oklahoma City metro? I understand that OU has a CF clinic at the children's hospital but I am unaware of they take adults. I don't currently have a family doctor and my insurance is also about to change, so I'm starting from scratch.
Any thoughts?
Thank you!
